Electric station wagons: current models 2023 / 2024

The market for electric vehicles is diverse and growing steadily. While the range is mainly focused on SUVs and sedans, the electric station wagon segment is growing only slowly. This is mainly due to the fact that the more popular SUV also fulfils many previously typical station wagon attributes, but also fulfils other wishes of customers with a seating position, more space and the general lifestyle factor. However, due to its lower weight and better aerodynamics, the electric station wagon would be the better, more efficient, resource-saving alternative to the Sports Utility Vehicle. In this article, we look at the latest electric station wagon models coming in 2024, as well as their leasing options. Our daily offers also offer many options for anyone who wants to lease an e-car at a reasonable price.

The late upswing of battery-electric station wagons

Although the demand for station wagons is generally declining, more electric models with backpacks have been appearing on the market since 2023. So far, four electric station wagons can be ordered, and six more could be added next year.

In its top version "MG4 XPower", the Chinese with British roots presses its passengers neatly into its sports seats.
